RMW: The Closet Queeen

Uniforms, is simply a way for teenagers to rebel against the school system and disregard what they are REQUIRED to wear every day. I can honestly say that the uniform attire has changed drastically since I’ve been in high school. The problem that I had in school was trying to look as different as I possibly could from my other classmates. I’d put different color cardigans on top of my uniform shirt as well as graphic t-shirts. Just so I could feel that I was a part from the crowd. It worked most of the time, but I still felt like the crowd, trying my hardest to stand out.

             But today students are so creative with their outfits. Not just taking the easy way out and throwing on a simple sweater or shirt over their “school colors” Today’s street style recipient is a teenager with a unique sense of style and a killer swag to go with it!

I love that he rolled his khakis pants up with his amazing brown Sperry’s and what a perfect accessory is his straw hat. This completes the outfit!

Today’s fashion is so versatile! I love the way you guys are so original with their fashion, and not following trends. My advices for a perfect outfit is to be creative, don’t shy away from colors and NAME BRANDS are NOT important. Follow your heart and don’t fear the worst! But what makes his outfit pop is the red Letterman jacket. Again GENTS don’t be afraid to mix colors. I promise you won’t lose your masculinity by doing so. It’s spring! Live a little!
